Terms of Service
Welcome to TopHired (tophired.ai), operated by 9649832 Canada Corporation ("TopHired," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using TopHired, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. What TopHired is
TopHired is an AI-powered job-search platform for job seekers in Canada. We aggregate job listings, use AI to score how well each job matches your resume and preferences, and provide tools to track applications and prepare for interviews and negotiations.
TopHired is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans in the future, we'll present pricing and payment terms clearly before you're ever charged, and we'll update these terms.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use TopHired.
- Keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- Give us accurate information. The quality of your matches depends on it, and impersonating someone else or uploading a resume that isn't yours (or that you don't have permission to use) isn't allowed.
- One account per person.
3. AI-generated content — an honest disclaimer
Much of what TopHired shows you is generated by AI: match scores, match explanations, red flags, interview feedback, coaching responses, resume suggestions, and negotiation guidance.
- AI output can be wrong. A high match score is an informed estimate, not a promise you'll get an interview. A red flag is a signal worth checking, not a verdict on an employer.
- It's guidance, not professional advice. Our coaching and negotiation tools are not legal, financial, or career-counselling advice. Big decisions — accepting an offer, negotiating salary, leaving a job — are yours, and worth verifying beyond any single tool.
- We don't guarantee outcomes. TopHired helps you run a better job search. It cannot guarantee interviews, offers, or employment.
4. Job listings
Job listings on TopHired come from third-party sources: employer career sites, applicant tracking systems, and job-data providers. We work hard to keep listings accurate, current, and genuinely Canadian, but we don't control the source data. Listings may occasionally be outdated, changed, or removed by the employer. Verify details on the employer's own site before relying on them. Applying to a job happens on the employer's site — we're not part of, and not responsible for, any hiring process or employment relationship.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload or write — your resume, notes, preferences, and testimonials. You give us permission to store and process that content to run the service (for example, sending your resume text to our AI providers to generate your match scores, as described in our Privacy Policy).
If you opt in to sharing a testimonial publicly, you give us permission to display it on our site and in our marketing until you withdraw that permission by emailing privacy@tophired.ai.
6. Accountability partners
If you invite an accountability partner, you confirm that person is okay with receiving emails about your job-search progress. Don't enter someone's email without their knowledge. Partners can unsubscribe from any email we send them.
7. Acceptable use
Don't:
- Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download job listings or any other data from the service;
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data;
- Reverse engineer, probe, or disrupt the service;
- Use the service to spam, harass, or mislead anyone (including in community features);
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
8. Community features
Community spaces (milestones, reactions, the public feed) are for encouragement among job seekers. Be kind. We may remove content or restrict community access for behaviour that's abusive, misleading, or off-purpose.
9. Availability and changes
TopHired is a young product and we improve it constantly. Features may change, be added, or be removed. We aim for high availability but don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Termination
You can stop using TopHired at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and data by emailing privacy@tophired.ai (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonable.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, 9649832 Canada Corporation disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including decisions made in reliance on AI-generated content or job-listing data. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the greater of $100 CAD or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer protection law gives you and that cannot be waived.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
13. Changes to these terms
If we make meaningful changes, we'll update this page and the date above, and announce significant changes by email or in the app. Continuing to use TopHired after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
