Overview
We're a web agency focused exclusively on e-commerce, partnering with brands to build high-converting online shopping experiences. We're looking for a UI/UX Designer with strong e-commerce and Shopify expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for usability, conversion-focused design, and the platform-specific nuances of building for Shopify and other commerce stacks.
Responsibilities
• Design and prototype UI/UX for e-commerce websites, with a focus on Shopify storefronts (theme customization, product pages, cart/checkout flows, collection pages, etc.)
• Translate business and brand requirements into wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma
• Design with Shopify's platform constraints and best practices in mind (Liquid templates, app integrations, theme architecture)
• Optimize user journeys to improve conversion rates, cart completion, and overall shopping experience
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implementation-ready and consistent with Shopify's responsive grid and component standards
• Maintain visual consistency across multiple client projects while adapting to each brand's identity
Requirements
• Portfolio required, with demonstrated experience in e-commerce and ideally Shopify projects
• Strong understanding of e-commerce UX patterns (product discovery, PDP/PLP layout, checkout optimization, mobile commerce)
• Proficiency in Figma (required); familiarity with Shopify theme structure is a strong plus
• Experience designing for both desktop and mobile shopping experiences
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
