About Fleet Fleet is a real-time, location-based reporting platform designed to provide immediate, verified information about events happening around the world. By prioritizing first-hand reports from people on the scene, Fleet reduces misinformation, fake news, and reporting delays often found in traditional news and social media. Fleet's mission is simple: provide the world with trustworthy, real-time information directly from where events happen. We are building a new category of social platform where reality comes first. Role Description Fleet is seeking a Head of Marketing to lead the project's marketing vision, strategy, and growth initiatives. This is not a traditional marketing role. We are looking for a leader who can take full ownership of Fleet's marketing direction, identify opportunities, build strategic partnerships, grow our user base, and establish Fleet as a recognized brand. You will work directly with the founder and have significant influence over the project's growth strategy, market positioning, and future marketing team structure. What You'll Own • Define and execute Fleet's overall marketing strategy. • Build and grow Fleet's brand presence and public image. • Identify and pursue user acquisition opportunities. • Develop relationships with media organizations, investors, community leaders, and strategic partners. • Determine which marketing channels, campaigns, and initiatives Fleet should invest in. • Create and oversee marketing budgets and growth plans. • Analyze market trends, user behavior, and competitive landscapes to guide company decisions. • Establish measurable growth objectives and key performance indicators. • Build and lead Fleet's future marketing team as the company grows. • Serve as a key strategic advisor to the founder regarding growth, branding, partnerships, and market expansion. Qualifications • Strong understanding of marketing, branding, growth, and business development. • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. • Ability to think strategically while also executing effectively. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Entrepreneurial mindset with the confidence to make decisions and take ownership. • Experience growing brands, products, communities, or businesses is highly valued. • Comfortable working in a startup environment where initiative and creativity are essential.
