Role Description The Finance & HR Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Montreal, QC. This position oversees day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and coordination with external auditors. The role also manages key HR activities such as payroll processing and review, benefits administration, performance management support, and employee relations. The manager ensures compliance with relevant financial, tax, and employment regulations and maintains accurate, timely documentation and records. This role collaborates closely with senior leadership and department managers to align financial and people strategies with business objectives, while supporting a safe, inclusive, and productive work environment. Qualifications • Strong finance and accounting skills, including budgeting, financial analysis, cost accounting, consolidation and reporting. • Experience in HR operations such as, onboarding, payroll processing, benefits administration, and performance management support. • Knowledge of Canadian and Quebec financial, tax, and employment regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance. • Proficiency with accounting, as well as MS Excel, QuickBooks, ERP, and other office productivity tools. • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy. • Clear written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting; bilingual English / French is an asset. • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain confidentiality and discretion. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications (CPA, ) is an advantage. • Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
