The Company is seeking a Vice President, Fund Development and Marketing to lead and oversee all activities in this critical area. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a multi-year philanthropic strategy to diversify and grow the organization's impact. This includes leading fund development activities, direct marketing, communications, and brand strategy. The role involves working closely with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and Fund Development Committee, and requires a strong focus on expanding the culture of philanthropy both internally and externally. The Vice President will also be expected to manage a pipeline of major donors, mentor the fund development and marketing team, and be a chief philanthropy ambassador and brand steward.
The ideal candidate for the Vice President position at the company will have a proven track record in fundraising, with experience in securing six-figure gifts and overseeing various fundraising streams. They should be a strategic leader with strong financial acumen, capable of managing budgets and with a clear understanding of charity regulations and CRA guidelines. The role demands a leader who is ethical, honest, and transparent in their communication, and who is committed to the values of the organization, particularly in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Experience in campaign and senior leadership, as well as a CFRE designation or an undergraduate degree, are considered assets. The candidate must be a successful, well-respected fundraising leader, with a career that demonstrates progressive advancement into senior leadership roles and a diverse, multigenerational team management experience.
