Full Stack Engineer - NodeJS & Reactjs

Developer JavaScript FSD Vancouver , BC Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced JavaScript Full Stack Developer with 6+ years of expertise in building scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in both front-end (React) and back-end (Node.js) technologies, with a solid understanding of modern development practices. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using JavaScript, React, and Node.js Build responsive, user-friendly UI components and reusable modules Develop and manage RESTful APIs and backend services Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, QA, and product teams Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting Work in Agile/Scrum environments and contribute to sprint planning Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 Hands-on experience with React.js (Redux / Context API) Strong backend experience with Node.js and Express.js Experience in building and consuming REST APIs Knowledge of databases such as MongoDB / MySQL / PostgreSQL Familiarity with Git and version control systems Understanding of authentication, authorization, and web security practices Experience with Docker or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills: Experience with TypeScript Familiarity with Next.js or server-side rendering Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines Exposure to testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress) Experience working with microservices architecture “We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
