As a Registered Nurse specializing in Labour and Delivery, you'll ensure holistic, patient-centered care for mothers and newborns. Your critical thinking and communication skills will shine as you support diverse families in various stages, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care. This role requires strong organizational talents and collaborative efforts within a multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and evaluations
• Provide antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
• Deliver culturally sensitive care and education
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals on patient plans
• Support families through complex pregnancy and postpartum issues
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• Active registration with the CRNA
• BCLS certification for healthcare providers
• Minimum 6 months L&D experience in the past 5 years
• Successful completion of a 4th year preceptorship preferred
