Registered Nurse (RN) – Temporary Full-Time Private Home Care Position
Location: Westmount, QC
Position Type: Temporary Full-Time Contract
Start Date: August 2, 2026
Duration: Weeks to months (based on patient’s care needs)
Compensation: $50/hour
We are seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses to join a dedicated team providing one-on-one private home care for a palliative care patient in Westmount.
This is a temporary full-time opportunity for a nurse looking for consistent hours while providing high-quality, personalized care in a home setting. The duration of the position will depend on the patient’s evolving care needs.
Schedule:
• 12-hour shifts:
• Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Night Shift: 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM
• Availability required: approximately 5–7 shifts per week
Due to the short-notice start, we are looking for nurses with strong availability, flexibility, and reliability who can commit to regular shifts.
Responsibilities:
• Provide compassionate palliative nursing care
• Monitor patient condition and manage symptoms
• Administer medications and treatments as required
• Provide comfort-focused care and support
• Communicate with family members and the healthcare team
• Complete nursing documentation and updates
Qualifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed with the OIIQ
• Bachelor of Nursing preferred
• Previous hospital experience required
• Palliative care, oncology, or complex care experience is an asset
• Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Professional, reliable, and compassionate
