directly to the Manager, Human Resources, you will collaborate closely with a
dynamic group of Human Resources Professionals.

What You’ll Do
You’ll act with integrity to:

Use sound judgment to assess client needs, acting as a client advisor,
applying HR strategy to support clients and add value.
·
Interpret and apply policies, practices, and legislation to guide
clients and ensure adherence to established policies and practices.
·
Safeguard and disclose information in line with guidelines and as
appropriate.
·
Maintain a high level of professionalism in a non-partisan consultative
role.
·
Demonstrate tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality, while upholding
professionalism.
You’ll
support our collaboration as you:
·
Provide human resources generalist services, information, and advice to
an assigned client group (e.g., Legislative Assembly staff, Caucuses, and
various Commissions) on staffing, classification, pay, benefits administration,
and employee relations.
·
Contribute to the development, updating, revision, and implementation of
HR policies, programs, and initiatives.
·
Develop strategies for appropriate report development, using information
to monitor and inform management.
·
Assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives in supporting organizational
objectives.
How You
Qualify
You demonstrate
excellence through your:
·
Proven
experience in Human Resources, particularly in a business partnership capacity,
with strong consulting and relationship management skills.
·
Education and
training in HR or equivalent experience, and a minimum of CHRP certification.
·
In-depth
understanding of HR methods, policies, practices, and procedures across various
HR functions.
·
Knowledge of
information systems and software tools supporting HR management planning and
services.
·
Ability to
provide HR services aligned with the Branch mandate, goals, practices, and
methods while adhering to the Assembly’s systems and policies.
·
Capability to
adapt your approach to different client needs and operating philosophies within
various work units.
