Marketing Manager, Paid Media Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 1 day per week in office) Job Type: Contract Duration: 7 Months (Potential for Extension) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week About the Role We are seeking a results‑driven Marketing Manager, Paid Media to lead the strategy, execution, optimization, and performance measurement of Paid Search campaigns. This role is ideal for a digital marketing professional who combines strong platform expertise with strategic thinking and stakeholder management capabilities. You will be responsible for developing and executing high‑performing paid media campaigns across multiple digital platforms while providing data‑driven insights that support business objectives. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, agencies, and business partners, you will drive campaign performance and help shape digital marketing strategies. Key Responsibilities Paid Media Strategy & Execution Develop, manage, and optimize Paid Search campaigns across digital advertising platforms. Execute end‑to‑end campaign management including setup, targeting, audience segmentation, creative implementation, testing, and reporting. Identify optimization opportunities to improve campaign performance and maximize ROI. Monitor campaign performance and ensure alignment with business goals and KPIs. Stay current on industry trends, platform updates, and digital marketing best practices. Strategic Planning & Performance Analysis Define campaign objectives, KPIs, and success metrics. Analyze campaign performance data and provide actionable recommendations. Generate reporting and performance insights to support business decision making. Translate complex data into clear strategic recommendations for stakeholders. Evaluate competitive trends and market opportunities to enhance campaign effectiveness. Stakeholder & Relationship Management Act as the primary point of contact for Paid Media strategy and execution. Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and cross‑functional teams. Partner with creative, media, and external agency partners to ensure successful campaign delivery. Present performance updates, insights, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders. Collaboration & Leadership Collaborate with internal marketing teams and external partners to support integrated campaign strategies. Mentor team members and share digital marketing best practices. Assist in troubleshooting campaign, platform, and reporting challenges. Contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Innovation & Continuous Improvement Identify new opportunities to improve campaign performance and efficiency. Explore emerging digital platforms and advertising technologies. Recommend innovative approaches to support evolving business objectives. Required Qualifications 3+ years of Paid Media experience with a strong focus on Paid Search. Hands‑on experience with SA360 (Search Ads 360) and Google Ads. SA360 experience is required. Proven expertise in campaign strategy, execution, optimization, and reporting. Strong understanding of KPI development, performance measurement, and data analysis. 1+ years of stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence and build relationships. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills. Solid attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience collaborating with internal teams, agencies, and external partners. Strong communication and presentation skills. Nice to Have Experience within Financial Services, Banking, or Wealth Management. Experience managing integrated, cross‑channel marketing campaigns. Knowledge of additional digital platforms such as Pinterest, TikTok, Meta, Microsoft Ads, Snapchat, or similar channels. Experience with automated reporting and dashboard tools.
