Our challenge
We are seeking talented Reliability and Production Engineering (RPE) who excel in troubleshooting, automation, and cross-functional collaboration. In this role, we are seeking candidates to work directly with technical and business partners to improve system reliability and scalability across our organization. The ideal candidate thrives in an environment of continuous innovation and demonstrates strong communication skills to articulate complex technical issues succinctly to diverse audiences.
The Role
Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues spanning hardware, software, application, and network components.
• Collaborate with engineering and development teams to design, build, and maintain reliable systems.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve deployment, management, and visibility of services.
• Proactively identify and mitigate system reliability risks.
• Support a follow-the-sun operational model, including on-call rotations.
• Participate in design reviews and operational readiness exercises for new and existing services.
• Maintain a focus on continuous improvement in system observability, scalability, and performance.
Requirements:
• Proven troubleshooting and debugging skills to identify root causes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Linux system administration and related tasks.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Perl, or Ruby.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring and observability tools like AppDynamics, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, GitHub, or similar.
• Knowledge of modern systems architectures including load balancing, databases, caching, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud solutions.
• Practical experience supporting large-scale, high-availability systems is a plus.
• Demonstrates grit, ownership, and a continuous improvement mindset.
