Join AMHSA as a full-time Accountant to drive financial accuracy in our Calgary or Sherwood Park offices. Utilize your strong skills in accounting and payroll to enhance internal controls and reporting processes. In this core role, you'll support the Director of Corporate Services in managing financial operations. Your responsibilities will include executing audits, maintaining financial records, and upholding compliance with industry standards. Ideal candidates demonstrate strong organizational skills and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct full-cycle accounting including journal entries and payroll • Prepare and analyze financial reports for management • Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recording • Oversee vendor invoicing and payment processes • Facilitate internal audit and compliance initiatives Requirements: • At least 3 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics or similar software • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications • Strong attention to detail and member confidentiality Bring your financial expertise to AMHSA and contribute to our mission of health and safety excellence.
