Position Overview :
We are looking for a detail-oriented GIC Operations Support Analyst to support daily GIC operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing files, investigating transactions, maintaining internal systems, and providing operational support while ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
Daily Responsibilities :
• Perform GIC operations support.
• Retrieve files and import them into the database.
• Perform investigations on identified transactions.
• Update data in internal systems.
• Monitor the group email inbox for new requests from brokers and issuers.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of operational activities.
Required Technical Skills :
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (including lookup functions)
• Microsoft Outlook
• Microsoft Word
• PPLUS (preferred)
Required Qualifications & Skills :
• Advanced Excel skills, including lookup functions.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Preferred 2 or more years of experience in the financial industry.
• Preferred understanding of term deposits.
Nice-to-Have Skills :
• Power Query
The expected base salary range for this position is $22 – $23 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity.
