Take on an essential role as an Electrician at Ellesmere Yard, ensuring maintenance and repair of electrical systems in City facilities. This full-time position focuses on various wiring systems, involving troubleshooting and repairs including EV chargers.
As a qualified Electrician, you will maintain, install, and repair interior and exterior electrical systems. Your expertise will direct work, oversee contractors, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Regular travel to different locations is necessary, utilizing your skills with tools and equipment effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain electrical systems and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, lights, and wiring
• Maintain accurate records and prepare specifications
• Oversee contractor work and train other staff
• Operate various vehicles and lifts safely
Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Qualification in Ontario as an Electrician
• Experience with electrical systems up to 600 volts
• Valid Ontario Class 'G' driver's license
• Familiarity with occupational safety regulations
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues
