Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
Coordinate and manage office facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation in compliance with Canadian labor laws.
Manage employee benefits, compensation, and payroll processes in partnership with external providers.
Drive employee engagement initiatives, including training, development programs, and team-building activities.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date HR records, including employee files, contracts, and compliance documentation.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and organizational growth.
Technical Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CHRP, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Strong knowledge of Canadian labor laws, employment standards, and HR best practices.
Proven experience in office management, facilities coordination, and administrative oversight.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and payroll software.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
