À propos du poste :
L’analyste / gestionnaire fait partie de l'équipe d’investissement chez Phoenix Partners et est responsable de comprendre les stratégies commerciales et de croissance de chaque opportunité d'investissement, d’analyser le marché, de compléter la modélisation financière et de présenter les résultats et recommandations à l'équipe exécutive.
Plus spécifiquement, l’analyste / gestionnaire participe à diverses activités de fusions et acquisitions, y compris la revue diligente, la construction de modèles financiers, la préparation des dossiers, l'exécution des transactions et l’aide au développement et à la mise en oeuvre de plans d'intégration pour assurer le succès à long terme.
Vous rejoindrez une équipe en pleine croissance dans un poste qui nécessite une bonne compréhension des bases de la finance et de la comptabilité.
Responsabilités :
• L’accent pour ce poste sera mis sur la construction de modèles financiers complexes
• Rechercher et analyser les marchés et cibles potentielles
• Rechercher, identifier et analyser diverses opportunités d'acquisition et documenter les acquisitions potentielles
• Participer à la valorisation des acquisitions potentielles et au processus de revue diligente
• Passer en revue la documentation juridique
• Soutenir et analyser la performance des entreprises du portefeuille
• Soutenir la direction dans diverses tâches telles que l'évaluation, la présentation au comité d'investissement, etc.
• Soutenir la direction dans divers projets spéciaux
Expérience :
• 2 à 4 ans d'expérience pertinente en investissement, capital-investissement, banque d'investissement ou conseil en fusions et acquisitions
• Baccalauréat en administration des affaires, en commerce ou dans un domaine connexe
• Désignation CPA, CFA et/ou CBV, un atout
• Excellente connaissance de la suite Microsoft Office
• Excellentes capacités en modélisation financière
• Capacité à travailler en équipe et à s'adapter à un environnement changeant
• Excellente connaissance des fondamentaux financiers et comptables
• Excellente maîtrise de l’anglais et du français, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.

About the role:
The Analyst / Associate is part of the Investment Team at Phoenix Partners and is responsible for understanding the business and growth strategies of each investment opportunity, researching the market, financial modelling and presenting findings and recommendations for acquisition prospects to the executive team.
Specifically, the Analyst / Associate participates in various M&A activities, including due diligence, building financial models, preparing packages, execution of the transaction, and assisting with the development and implementation of integration plans to ensure long term success.
You will join a growing team in a position that requires a good understanding of finance and accounting fundamentals.
Responsibilities:
• Emphasis for this position will be on building complex financial models
• Research and analyze potential markets and targets
• Research, identify, and analyze various acquisition opportunities and document potential acquisitions
• Participate in the valuation of potential acquisitions and the due diligence process
• Review legal documentation
• Support and analyze performance of portfolio companies
• Support management in multiple tasks such as valuation, presentation to the investment committee, etc.
• Support management in various special projects
Experience:
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in investment, private equity, investment banking or M&A advisory
• CPA, CFA, and/or CBV designation an asset
• Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or other related programs
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong financial modelling skills
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to a changing environment
• Excellent knowledge of financial and accounting fundamentals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French
