Ottawa HR Manager at METRO

Shape the future of METRO as the Ottawa HR Manager, specializing in labour relations and employee engagement. This role requires strategic partnership with store management to handle negotiations and HR functions, ensuring organizational objectives are met. As the Ottawa HR Manager, you will guide the team through collective agreement negotiations and support various HR initiatives such as training and recruitment, while focusing on compliance and employee relations. Key Responsibilities: • Facilitate collective negotiation processes for stores • Provide guidance on HR policies and grievance handling • Support District Manager in performance and recruitment • Oversee employee training and development programs • Manage promotions, transfers, and other HR actions Requirements: • Minimum of 3-5 years HR experience • CHRL/CHRP designation is an asset • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Excellent professionalism and teamwork capabilities • Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment Elevate METRO's HR strategies while enhancing employee relations positively in Ottawa.
