• Pay Rate: $76.47 hour, depending on experience
• Contract Length: 9 Months

Raise is currently hiring an IT Data & Financial Operations Analyst on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of North America's leading energy infrastructure companies with operations in natural gas, oil and power industries throughout Canada, the United States, and Mexico
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The successful candidate will act as a key liaison across IT, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Finance, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, process compliance, and effective operational governance. Our Clients IT Governance & Financial Operations Analyst supports operational excellence across Information Services by providing governance, reporting, financial management, vendor management support, and process automation capabilities. This role is responsible for maintaining key performance dashboards, supporting IT financial management (ITFM) processes, administering spend governance workflows, and driving continuous improvement through workflow automation and data management.
Responsibilities
• IT Financial Management & Governance
• Support IT financial management processes, including spend tracking, governance reporting, and operational reviews.
• Maintain and administer IT spend approval processes and associated governance workflows.
• Support ongoing improvements to ITFM and vendor governance processes, tools, and reporting.
• Assist with financial reporting, data validation, and governance activities to improve information quality and decision support.
• Reporting & Analytics
• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and operational reporting solutions.
• Support executive and management reporting through data analysis, visualization updates, and dashboard maintenance.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, cleanup, and continuous improvement activities to improve reporting accuracy.
• Respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from leadership and business stakeholders.
• Vendor & Third-Party Management Support
• Support tracking and reporting of third-party spend, renewals, maintenance agreements, and subscription services.
• Maintain governance trackers and reporting artifacts supporting vendor management processes.
• Partner with SCM, Finance, and IS stakeholders to ensure reporting and governance requirements are met.
• Process Automation & Continuous Improvement
• Support automation initiatives using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
• Assist with development and maintenance of workflow automation supporting governance and compliance processes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
• SharePoint & Knowledge Management
• Maintain SharePoint repositories, governance documentation, trackers, and knowledge management content.
• Ensure governance artifacts remain current, organized, and accessible to stakeholders.
• Support migration and maintenance activities for governance-related SharePoint sites and repositories.
• Operational Administration
• Support operational access governance processes and approval workflows.
• Assist with maintaining role ownership, approval coverage, and process continuity.
• Participate in knowledge transfer activities and documentation updates to support operational sustainability.
Success Measures
• Within the role, the successful candidate will:
• Maintain and enhance key governance and financial reporting processes.
• Deliver accurate and timely operational reporting and analytics.
• Support effective vendor governance and spend visibility.
• Improve operational efficiency through automation and process improvements.
• Ensure governance documentation and repositories remain current and well managed.
Qualifications
• 3–5 years of experience supporting IT operations, governance, reporting, financial management, or business analysis functions.
• Experience working with Power BI for reporting and dashboard development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills.
• Experience with SharePoint administration and document management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Preferred
• Experience supporting IT Financial Management (ITFM), vendor management, or procurement-related processes.
• Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate development.
• Knowledge of SOX controls, governance processes, or audit requirements.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, ERP systems, or related enterprise platforms.
• Experience working in large enterprise environments.
• Education and Certifications
• Post-secondary education in Business, Information Technology, Finance, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
