About this role
At Velocity Prep, we help aspiring police officers across Canada successfully navigate the police hiring process through expert coaching, mentorship, and online training.
Every week, new members join our program, and we’re looking for someone who can deliver an outstanding first experience. As the first person many of our clients speak with, you’ll play an important role in making them feel welcomed, supported, and confident as they begin their journey.
If you genuinely enjoy talking to people, building relationships, and helping others succeed, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
• Conduct 1-on-1 onboarding calls with new members over Zoom
• Welcome new clients and guide them through their first steps
• Answer common questions about our programs and services
• Help clients understand how to get the most out of Velocity Prep
• Recommend additional services when they’re a good fit for the client’s goals (no aggressive sales)
• Update our CRM and client records
• Complete administrative and customer success tasks between scheduled calls
• Support day-to-day operations as needed
This is primarily a customer success role. Your goal is to create an exceptional client experience from the very first interaction.
Who We’re Looking For
This position is a great fit if you:
• Speak fluent English with excellent verbal communication skills
• Are confident and comfortable speaking with clients on Zoom
• Enjoy meeting new people and naturally build rapport
• Are professional, friendly, and personable
• Are comfortable recommending additional services when appropriate
• Learn new software quickly
• Can manage your own workload without constant supervision
• Are organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
• Show up on time and communicate proactively
If you’re uncomfortable speaking with clients throughout the day, this position is probably not the right fit.
Work Schedule
• Minimum 20 hours per week
• Approximately 4-hour shifts (5 Days A Week, you choice)
• During your scheduled shift:
• You’ll conduct onboarding calls when they’re booked.
• When there are no scheduled calls, you’ll work on customer success and administrative tasks.
• We ask that you consistently reserve these hours for Velocity Prep.
Compensation
• $18–$20 CAD per hour, depending on experience, communication skills, and overall fit.
• Ongoing training and opportunities for growth as the company expands.
Equipment Requirements
Since you’ll be representing our company on live video calls, you must have:
• Reliable high-speed internet
• HD webcam
• Clear microphone or headset
• Quiet, professional workspace
• Proper lighting for video calls
You are often the first impression clients have of Velocity Prep, so presenting yourself professionally is essential.

Experience with any of the following is a bonus, but we’ll provide training:
• Zoom
• GoHighLevel (GHL)
