About this role

Candidates outside this range are encouraged to apply. About the role We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst in our AI Engineering Team. Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders, data science teams, and operations to define product vision, gather requirements and scope projects. Define roadmaps and integrated plans in partnership with various teams. Work with architects to understand technical aspects and provide answers for security gating. Coordinate with AI engineers, data scientists, data engineers and DevOps on Jira ticket elaboration. Diagnose and resolve issues across teams. Act as a liaison between data science, AI engineering, and business groups. Own and manage documentation: BRD, technical specifications, functional & non‑functional requirements, global test strategy, project & release planning documents, case studies. Participate and lead in all Agile ceremonies, manage product backlog, help Scrum Master prioritize work. Track progress, highlight risks, and share mitigation plans. Communicate with stakeholders across key milestones and gather feedback from end users. What we’re looking for Go‑getter, hungry to learn and deliver results. Experience and Qualifications At least 6 years of experience in IT as a senior business analyst. Minimum 2 years as a Senior BA or Product Owner in AI product development or mature Agile environments. Excellent knowledge of Agile methodology. Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or related IT field (master’s degree is an asset). Solid experience in AI product development projects. Strong knowledge of AI, Data Science, and LLM applications. Comfortable with Jira, Teams, and Confluence. Pre‑preferred certifications: CSPO, CBAP, CPOA. Ability to deliver impactful presentations and facilitate workshops. Facilitate daily scrums, planning, review, and prioritization workshops. Strong understanding of technical design and development. Proficiency in English required; fluency in French is a plus. No Canadian work experience required; candidate must be eligible to work in Canada.
