Company Description
Our client is a fast-growing AI company building autonomous AI agents for the physical goods economy. Their platform enables enterprises to automate complex workflows across distribution, manufacturing, insurance, healthcare, and supply chain operations by integrating directly with legacy enterprise systems.
Backed by leading investors and experiencing rapid customer growth, the company has already deployed its AI agents within large enterprise organizations and is expanding aggressively to meet customer demand. Engineers joining today will work on some of the most challenging problems in agentic AI, enterprise automation, and human-AI collaboration.
What You Will Do
• Build and improve AI agents operating within complex enterprise environments
• Design and develop production-grade software used by enterprise customers
• Work closely with product, design, business, and engineering teams to deliver new capabilities
• Participate directly in customer deployments and implementation discussions
• Integrate AI systems with CRMs, ERPs, and legacy enterprise software
• Build scalable backend systems and workflows supporting agent execution
• Improve reliability through testing, monitoring, and CI/CD best practices
• Contribute to architecture discussions and platform scalability initiatives
• Stay current with emerging AI, infrastructure, and software engineering technologies
Ideal Candidate Background
• 0–2 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong internship, co-op, or new graduate experience at startups or technology companies
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another STEM field
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and computer science knowledge
• Experience shipping production-quality software
• Strong understanding of systems design and scalable architecture concepts
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated leadership through clubs, teaching assistant roles, athletics, research, or entrepreneurial projects
Preferred
• Experience building AI applications using LLMs, RAG systems, agents, or model integrations
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and modern cloud-native infrastructure
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, or other backend programming languages
• Experience in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, insurance, or enterprise software environments
• Previous startup experience
• Experience working directly with customers or stakeholders
• Open-source contributions, hackathon projects, or entrepreneurial initiatives
Compensation and Benefits
• Competitive base salary: CA$75,000 – CA$90,000
