As the Operations Manager at ENMAX's Shepard Energy Centre, you will oversee safe and reliable operations while mentoring your team.
Your primary responsibilities will include optimizing facility performance and managing supplier relationships. This role requires strong leadership and technical expertise to align operational strategies with business goals. Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure training and skill development for operations personnel
• Meet operational availability and reliability targets
• Manage supplier relationships for operational resources
• Develop long-term operational budgets and performance standards
• Implement procedures for safe equipment operation
Requirements:
• Valid First Class Power Engineer certificate or progress toward it
• Minimum 8 years in power generation with 3 years in supervision
• Strong mechanical aptitude and high voltage knowledge
• Proven experience managing multiple projects
• Familiarity with HSE policies and compliance regulations
