Position Summary
We are seeking a Procurement Analyst to join the Atlantic Category Management team, reporting to the Strategy Specialist. This role focuses on analyzing procurement, supplier, and project data to support sourcing decisions, supplier management, and category strategies. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of transforming complex data into meaningful insights, dashboards, and business recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting
• Extract, clean, and analyze procurement data from SAP, Ariba, Fieldglass, and other internal systems.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for spend analysis, supplier performance, contract compliance, and procurement KPIs.
• Create standardized reports, reusable data models, and visualizations for business stakeholders.
• Deliver accurate analyses and concise recommendations to support decision-making.
Procurement & Stakeholder Support
• Support Category Managers and Strategy Specialists with data-driven insights.
• Assist with supplier performance monitoring, KPI reporting, and supplier review preparation.
• Support sourcing activities, including RFI/RFP processes, bid evaluations, benchmarking, and analysis.
• Prepare negotiation materials and contract award recommendations.
Process Improvement & Automation
• Utilize automation and AI tools to improve reporting efficiency and data analysis.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and reduce manual effort.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of analytical tools, reporting standards, and procurement best practices.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in procurement, finance, operations, or business analytics.
• Experience working with large datasets and supporting business decision-making.
• Strong Power BI skills, including dashboard development and data modeling.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint for business presentations.
• Familiarity with ERP or procurement systems such as SAP or Ariba.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Professional proficiency in both English and French (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in industrial or capital-intensive environments.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, or reporting automation tools.
• Familiarity with AI tools used for analytics and reporting.
• Understanding of procurement processes, supplier performance, contract management, and cost analysis.
