Join WestJet as a Safety Data Analyst, focusing on Flight Data Monitoring insights. This full-time role requires in-person collaboration, driving excellence in safety performance analytics.
As part of the high-visibility team, you will report to the Senior Manager and play a crucial role in maintaining data integrity. You’ll analyze complex datasets, produce detailed reports, and support stakeholders in achieving safety objectives. Your expertise in Power BI reports and SQL queries will enable effective troubleshooting and insights generation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and review multi-source data efficiently
• Maintain quality assessments for safety datasets
• Develop and update Power BI reports systematically
• Utilize statistical tools for pattern identification
• Collaborate with stakeholders to derive meaningful KPIs
Requirements:
• 3 years+ experience in BI Analytics or relevant degree
• Strong SQL and Microsoft Excel skills
• Practical knowledge of data architecture
• Familiarity with aircraft systems preferred
• Experience in advanced statistical modeling a plus
