Manoir Emery is a newly reconstructed 15-room boutique hotel located in Montreal's vibrant Quartier des Spectacles. Inspired by French neoclassical design and elevated hospitality, the property features refined interiors, premium finishes, a lobby lounge, bar, and four-season enclosed terrace.
We are seeking a highly organized, service-driven Hotel Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the property and ensure an exceptional guest experience.
The Role
Reporting directly to ownership, you will oversee daily hotel operations, guest satisfaction, staff coordination, and operational excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for boutique hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee all daily hotel operations and ensure smooth property performance
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Revenue Management, Marketing, and Remote Guest Support teams
• Monitor guest satisfaction and proactively resolve service issues
• Conduct daily property inspections and maintain luxury presentation standards
• Supervise scheduling, operational procedures, and staff performance
• Oversee inventory, purchasing coordination, and operational supplies
• Support implementation of hotel systems, SOPs, and service standards
• Foster a positive team culture focused on professionalism and exceptional hospitality
Qualifications
• Previous hotel operations or hospitality management experience
• Exceptional guest service mindset
• Fluent in both English and French
• Comfortable with hotel technology and property management systems (MEWS)
• Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions
• Experience in a boutique or luxury hotel environment is considered a strong asset
