About Miix Analytics Miix Analytics is a Canadian marketing analytics consultancy helping leading brands prove the value of marketing and optimise ROI through Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), advanced analytics, and decision-ready insights. We work across industries, including CPG, retail, sports sponsorship, gaming, media, and financial services to solve high-impact business problems. We are looking for an exceptional Associate Manager, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) / Marketing Analytics to join our growing team. This role combines technical analytics, leadership, client delivery, and people management. You will lead MMM engagements from data to recommendations, coach analysts, and help clients translate complex analytics into smarter marketing decisions. This is a full-time role that reports directly to the CEO and is based on-site at our office in Liberty Village, Toronto. What You’ll Do Lead MMM Delivery • Own end-to-end delivery of Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) projects across multiple industries and clients • Oversee data ingestion, harmonisation, transformation, feature engineering, modeling, validation, analysis, and storytelling • Apply statistical and econometric methodologies to evaluate marketing effectiveness and business performance • Ensure quality, rigour, and consistency of analytical outputs and recommendations Client Leadership • Translate technical findings into clear business implications and recommendations for marketing stakeholders • Support client presentations, workshops, and executive discussions • Build trusted relationships with client teams and contribute to a high-quality delivery experience People Leadership • Coach, mentor, and develop early-career analysts and technical team members • Guide problem-solving, coding practices, analytical thinking, and communication • Help improve team processes, standards, and ways of working Innovation & Problem Solving • Apply critical thinking to solve complex marketing and business challenges • Explore emerging methodologies, tools, and approaches in MMM and marketing analytics • Contribute to continuous improvement in modeling, automation, and data workflows What We’re Looking ForStrategic & Leadership Skills • Strong critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills • High attention to detail and commitment to analytical accuracy • Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences • Demonstrated people leadership, mentorship, or coaching experience • Curiosity about consumer behaviour, marketing effectiveness, and media/channel performance • Growth mindset, ownership mentality, and strong professional accountability Technical Skills & Experience • Strong proficiency in Python for analytics and modeling (including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, scikit-learn, or equivalent) • Experience working with R and statistical modeling environments • Experience with regression and econometric methodologies (e.g., Bayesian, Elastic Net, Linear Regression, time-series approaches) • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including analytical functions and large dataset management • Experience with data visualisation and dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI) is an asset • Experience with SQL, cloud environments, or additional programming languages is considered an asset Candidate Profile • Undergraduate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or a related quantitative discipline • Master’s degree considered an asset • 4+ years of relevant experience in marketing analytics, MMM, econometrics, data science, insights, consulting, or related analytical disciplines • Experience leading projects and/or coaching junior talent preferred • Legally authorised to work in Canada • Located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) with the ability to work onsite full-time at our Liberty Village office Why Join Miix? • Exposure to leading Canadian and global brands across diverse industries • Opportunity to work at the forefront of Marketing Mix Modeling and marketing effectiveness measurement • High visibility and direct mentorship from senior leadership • Clear growth and advancement opportunities • Competitive compensation aligned to an equitable compensation framework • Health Care Spending Account after probation • RRSP/DPSP participation after one year • Equity participation eligibility after one year • Team trips, professional development, and a collaborative culture Interview Process Qualified candidates may be asked to complete a technical assessment in Python and/or discuss prior analytical work as part of the interview process.
