• As the Senior Manager of Inside Sales at Cohere, you will be a key leader in driving revenue growth and scaling the company’s sales operations • This role is pivotal in overseeing the entire inside sales function, from team leadership and strategy development to pipeline optimization and cross-functional collaboration • You will be responsible for ensuring the team is equipped to sell Cohere’s cutting-edge AI solutions effectively while exceeding revenue targets and contributing to the company’s long-term success • Lead and Scale the Team: Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing inside sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration • Drive Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategic sales plans that directly contribute to meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets • Optimize Sales Operations: Streamline processes, tools, and workflows to maximize efficiency, productivity, and win rates across the sales funnel • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with marketing, product, customer success, and finance teams to align sales efforts with broader business objectives • Analyze and Forecast: Track and analyze key sales metrics, forecast revenue, and provide actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making • Provide Technical Enablement: Ensure the team has the knowledge and resources to effectively sell Cohere’s AI platform, including its capabilities in natural language processing, generative AI, and agentic AI • Mentor and Develop Talent: Identify, recruit, and develop top sales talent, with a focus on long-term career growth and leadership development • Recruit, onboard, and develop a team of high-performing inside sales representatives, with a focus on scalability and long-term success • Set clear goals, expectations, and performance metrics for the team, aligning them with company objectives • Conduct regular coaching sessions, training programs, and performance reviews to enhance sales skills and product knowledge • Monitor and optimize the sales pipeline, ensuring leads are properly qualified and moved through the funnel efficiently • Collaborate with marketing to refine lead generation strategies, campaigns, and messaging • Work with Solutions Architects and Product Managers to address technical questions and provide demos or proof of concepts • Analyze sales data to identify trends, forecast revenue, and recommend strategic improvements • Represent the sales team in cross-functional meetings and contribute to high-level strategic planning • Oversee budget management for the sales team, including tools, training, and incentives Benefits • Six weeks’ paid vacation • Equity / stock options • RRSP, 401(k), and Pension Scheme contributions • Coverage for 100% of your insurance premiums across health, dental, vision, and travel • Additional coverage for accessing mental health providers/services • Six months of fully paid parental leave, including adoption and surrogacy • Financial support for egg freezing and IVF in Canada and the UK • A monthly fitness and wellness allowance • Globally dispersed company that supports a remote work culture • A $2,000 annual education benefit for professional development • A weekly stipend for meals when working remotely and catered lunch when working from one of our global offices • A monthly arts and culture allowance • A monthly quality time allowance
