As we continue to expand our presence across Canada, we are seeking an experienced Channel Sales & Business Development Manager to help strengthen our partner ecosystem and accelerate growth.
Position Overview
This role is responsible for developing and managing strategic channel relationships while driving business growth through indirect sales channels across Canada.
The successful candidate will work closely with distributors, value-added resellers (VARs), independent software vendors (ISVs), system integrators, and other technology partners to identify opportunities, expand market reach, and support revenue growth.
This position is ideally suited for a sales professional who combines strong business development skills with an established network within the Canadian technology, payment, POS, or enterprise mobility ecosystem
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, VARs, ISVs, system integrators, and technology resellers.
· Identify and pursue new channel and business development opportunities across target industries.
· Recruit, onboard, and support new channel partners.
· Collaborate with partners on sales initiatives, product positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
· Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline and maintain accurate forecasting.
· Gather market intelligence and competitive insights to support business planning.
· Represent Versa Technology at industry events, partner meetings, and trade shows.
· Work closely with internal sales, technical, and marketing teams to support partner success and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Required
· 10+ year of experience in channel sales, business development, or partner management.
· Experience within one or more of the following sectors:
• Payment Technology
• POS Hardware
• Enterprise Mobility
• Retail Technology
• Hospitality Technology
• Warehouse & Logistics Solutions
• Mobile Computing or Data Capture Solutions
· Demonstrated success building and managing channel partnerships.
· Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
· Ability to work independently and effectively within a growing organization.
Preferred
· Established relationships with Canadian distributors, VARs, ISVs, system integrators, or technology resellers.
· Experience introducing new products, technologies, or brands into the Canadian market.
· Familiarity with Android Smart POS, payment acceptance solutions, and enterprise mobility technologies.
