About this role

Reporting to the Controller, this position will be responsible for providing Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Accounting support to the finance team. Accounts Receivable Responsibilities: • Daily generate and send out invoices using portals • Maintain up-to-date customer billing system (Portals) • Daily updates to financial spreadsheets • Follow up on, collect and allocate payments • Perform customer account reconciliations when required • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities • Investigate and resolve customer queries • Communicate with customers via phone and email • Collaborate and create memos for changes related to accounts receivable with Controller • Follow up on all required AR emails within 24 hours • Create and Maintain all AR Procedures • Complete and Analyze Margin reviews related to AR • Other duties as assigned Payroll Responsibilities: • Enter in daily timesheets • Follow up on timesheet errors/ questions with Leads for accuracy • Update spreadsheets • Update correct payroll checklist with daily adjustments • Collaborate with Payroll Processor on memos, policies and procedures as required • Other duties as assigned Accounting Support Responsibilities: • Assist with Accounts Payable when required • AP packages, statement reconciliations • Assist with reconciling receipts to credit card statements and employee expense reports • Assist with month end and year end requirements • Other duties as assigned Qualifications and requirements: • Willingness to learn payroll administration and systems; • Accounting certificate and/or 2 year diploma • Minimum 2 year experience in AR; AP and Payroll experience would be an asset • Accounting knowledge sufficient to perform journal entries and payroll account reconciliations. • Ability to exercise tact and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information. • Strong computer skills • Detail oriented and ability to work to tight timelines. • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with employees and vendors at various levels of the organization. #CALT Pay: From $55,000.00 per year Benefits: • Casual dress • Dental care • Disability insurance • Employee assistance program • Extended health care • On-site parking • Paid time off • Profit sharing • Vision care • Wellness program Work Location: In person
