Become a Mechanical Engineer at GFL Environmental's North Vancouver Oil Refinery. Focus on rotating equipment, troubleshooting, and optimizing plant operations in a full-time capacity. GFL Environmental is looking for a detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer or Technologist to enhance our North Vancouver refinery operations. This role emphasizes a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and driving a proactive reliability culture within the plant. You'll work closely with engineering theory and real-world applications while supporting the implementation of Eptura CMMS software. Key Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot and diagnose rotating equipment issues • Engage in field inspections and performance evaluations • Champion Reliability Centered Maintenance practices • Assist with CMMS software migration and optimization • Manage small-scale refinery projects efficiently Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field • 3 to 7 years of industrial or refinery experience • Strong knowledge of rotating equipment safety practices • Familiarity with CMMS software like Eptura or SAP • High drive to learn and adapt in a refinery setting Drive mechanical innovation and reliability through hands-on engineering and project management at GFL Environmental.
