Partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that align with organizational objectives and drive business performance.
Provide expert guidance on talent management, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning.
Lead employee relations initiatives, ensuring a positive workplace culture and resolving complex HR issues in compliance with Canadian labor laws.
Design and implement workforce planning strategies to support business growth, including headcount forecasting and talent pipeline development.
Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace and enhance employee engagement.
Collaborate with HR teams to develop and deliver training programs that enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
Monitor HR metrics and analytics to identify trends, recommend improvements, and measure the impact of HR initiatives on business outcomes.
Ensure compliance with federal and provincial employment laws, including the Canada Labour Code and Employment Standards Act.
Technical Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CHRP, SHRM-CP) is a strong asset.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner or Generalist role.
Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, and workforce planning in a corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of Canadian employment laws and regulations, including Canada Labour Code, Employment Standards Act, and Human Rights Code.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into HR solutions.
Experience with HRIS (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and HR analytics tools to drive data-informed decision-making.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles and practices.
