About the Role Our client is seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Luxury Resort Operations Manager to oversee key operational departments at a high-end resort property in Calgary . This role is critical in ensuring the seamless execution of daily resort functions, encompassing guest services, housekeeping, groundskeeping, and maintenance. You will be responsible for maintaining the resort's reputation for excellence, ensuring guest satisfaction, optimizing operational efficiency, and managing departmental budgets. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate daily operations across various departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Facilities Management. Ensure the highest standards of guest service are met and exceeded, proactively addressing and resolving guest concerns. Develop and implement operational procedures and policies to enhance efficiency, safety, and service quality. Oversee departmental budgets, controlling expenses and maximizing profitability while maintaining service excellence. Lead, train, and motivate department heads and their teams, fostering a culture of accountability and superior service. Conduct regular inspections of resort facilities to ensure they meet and exceed luxury standards for maintenance and aesthetics. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel or resort operations management, with a significant portion in a luxury environment. Proven ability to manage multiple departments and effectively lead large teams. Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Deep understanding of luxury hospitality standards and guest expectations.
