We are currentlyseeking an energetic and enthusiastic Designer within the Mechanical or Piping disciplinesto be based in either Vancouveror the Calgaryoffice.
About the role
• Drawing production including generation of flow sheets, piping and instrumentation diagrams, piping drawings, isometrics, tie-in lists, valve list and equipment lists.
• Prepare high level 2D and 3D models of mineral processing equipment such as belt conveyors, tanks, pumps, crushers, mills, etc.
• Work with other disciplines in the overall assignment to coordinate designs.
• Plan, organize and coordinate technical aspects of one or more projects.
• Ensure that objectives related to quality, quantity, cost and scheduling are met.
• Maintain consistent drafting standards across projects by adhering to Ausenco drafting standards.
• Work effectively as a member of multi-functional project teams.
About you
• 1-3years of relevant experience including the design of piping systems or the layout of process equipment.
• Experience in the use of AutoCAD 2D and 3D, Inventor (or equivalents such as Solidworks, Solid Edge, etc.)
• Working knowledge of and experience in using ASME and CSA Codes & Standards.
• Design experience in minerals and metals sector is an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of multi-functional project teams is a must
• Experience with SmartPlant and P&ID is strongly valued.

Salary range: $55,000 – 70,000 annually
Expected Salary: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as qualifications, relevant years of experience, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
