You’ll work closely with customers and customer-facing teams to provide industry-leading calling workflows. On this team, you’ll be participating in an effort to combine traditional hardware solutions with Dialpad’s cutting-edge cloud communication platform. You’ll be contributing directly to high-impact projects that drive critical business strategies.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">This position reports to our Hardware Engineering Manager and is a hybrid role, with the opportunity to be based in our Vancouver office.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong>What you’ll do</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Develop and maintain software solutions and integrations that interface with VoIP devices, including IP phones, SIP adapters, ATA adapters, and DECT base stations.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Design and implement features and improvements for device management, provisioning, activation, and control in the UI.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Troubleshoot production/customer-related issues with devices.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests to ensure the robustness of the device integration management software.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Maintain code quality by reviewing peers’ code.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Collaborate with Product Management, Design, and cross-functional engineering teams to understand the requirements and translate them into technical specifications.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Work closely with QA throughout the entire lifecycle of a feature.</span></li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Work on self-development and continuous self-improvement to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies in the field.</span></li>

<ul>
