Hiring for Data Engineer, Toronto, ON

Title: Data Engineer Location: Toronto, ON Duration: 06-12 months Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team on a 12-month contract. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days on-site per week from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering and experience with Azure technologies. Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered) • Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) • Proficiency in Azure Databricks (ADB) • Experience with PySpark • Solid knowledge of SQL • Experience in architecting ETL frameworks • 4–6 years of experience in Data Engineering • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required) • 3–5 years of experience in Data Analysis • Strong knowledge of SQL and data querying tools (SQL Developer, TOAD) • Familiarity with Azure Big Data technologies Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role) • Design, develop, and maintain ETL frameworks • Build and optimize data pipelines using Azure tools • Architect scalable and efficient data integration solutions
