About this role

Hello. It’s nice to meet you. If you’re looking for a challenge, you’ve come to the right place. We can’t promise where you’ll go, but we do promise no two All Weather journeys are the same because no matter who you are or where you come from, we’re all building something. Every single one of us. Whether it’s a home, a career, a family or a future, we’re all searching for growth. This is our story too. For more than 45 years, we’ve built the All Weather Group into the largest privately owned and operated window, door and glass manufacturer in the country. But in some ways, we’re just getting started. Are you ready for this? At the All Weather Group, you’ll be challenged to think on your feet, learn on the job and make an impact in big and small ways. We won’t hold your hand but we will have your back in helping you build the skills, experience and career you deserve. We’re looking for a hands-on, people-first Human Resources Business Partner to support our main manufacturing facility and help shape the future of HR at All Weather. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values strong relationships, and takes pride in executing the fundamentals of HR exceptionally well. You’ll partner closely with employees across production, trades, and operations, providing day-to-day HR support while building trust with leaders and frontline teams alike. A strong floor presence, sound judgment, and the ability to connect across cultures and communication styles are essential. Are you built for this? We hire as much for attitude as we do for experience, because who you are is just as important as what you can do. This is an operationally focused role with meaningful opportunity for growth. You’ll spend much of your time supporting your group’s day-to-day HR needs, building processes, and strengthening manager capability. As credibility and partnerships grow, so will your strategic impact within the business. This role will transition to a hybrid work model; however, the successful candidate should expect to work full-time onsite during the first months to build relationships, gain a strong understanding of our operations, and become immersed in our teams and processes. What You’ll Do • Support the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration of various programs • Serve as the dedicated HR partner for our manufacturing facility, coaching managers/supervisors and supporting employees at every level • Lead investigations, accommodation discussions, conflict resolution, and performance-related matters with professionalism and fairness • Advise leaders on employment legislation, policy interpretation, and HR best practices ensuring standardized processes are followed and managers are coached through the experience • Manage high-volume recruitment while balancing quality, speed, and candidate experience • Maintain accurate HRIS records and support reporting and workforce metrics • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, build consistency, and support organizational change initiatives • Foster positive relationships with employees for whom English is a second or additional language — patience, adaptability, and creative communication are real skills here • You will be supported by a collaborative HR team and an HR Manager who is invested in your development What You Bring • Post-secondary education in HR, Business, or a related field • 5-7 years of progressive HR generalist experience • Experience in manufacturing, production, or other high-volume operational environments is a strong asset • Strong knowledge of Alberta employment legislation • Proven ability to coach and influence leaders by building manager capability — not simply solving problems for them • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences and situations • Strong cross-cultural communication skills, including the ability to communicate with clarity, patience, and adaptability across language and cultural differences; additional language proficiency is an asset • Strong organization, follow-through, critical thinking and sound judgment • HRIS experience required; UKG experience is an asset • CPHR designation (or working toward it) is considered an asset • A growth mindset and genuine motivation to help shape the future of the HR function as the role evolves Let’s get after it. Every day at All Weather is an opportunity to roll up your sleeves and move one step closer to your goals. Our workforce reflects the diversity of our community — and we see that as a strength. We’re committed to building an HR function that supports every employee with fairness, respect, and understanding. The people who succeed in this role tend to share a few things in common: They thrive when... This might not be the right fit if... ✓ Juggling recruitment, ER, and admin all in one day ✗ You are looking for a predominantly strategic role right now ✓ Coaching managers who do not always get it right away ✗ You find operational HR work beneath your experience level ✓ Working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment ✗ You need a quiet, predictable workload to do your best work We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and value individuals who can connect authentically with people across cultures, languages, and lived experiences. Being a trusted resource for employees at every level matters just as much as technical HR expertise.
