Job description
As the Marketing & PR Manager, you will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing and public relations initiatives across Canada. Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee integrated marketing programs, brand events, public relations activities, and budget management to drive brand awareness, commercial performance, and market competitiveness.
Starting base pay of $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 plus annual performance bonus.

Responsibilities include:
• Marketing Strategy & Planning: Develop annual marketing objectives, strategies, and a comprehensive master marketing plan aligned with global direction and local business goals.
• Campaign Execution & Program Management: Lead the execution of marketing, advertising, and sales programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams; manage timelines through structured project planning and coordination.
• Public Relations & Brand Communications: Act as the primary liaison for PR activities; coordinate media outreach, brand updates, and communication strategies to support product launches and brand positioning.
• Event Management & Brand Experiences: Oversee planning and execution of brand events, including coordination with event agencies, creative vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery aligned with brand standards.
• Budget Management & Financial Oversight: Develop and manage the annual marketing budget; track expenditures, oversee approvals, and ensure accurate reporting and financial governance.
• Performance Analysis & Reporting: Analyze and recap marketing program performance, including sales impact; deliver regular reports to headquarters and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Retail & POS Execution: Manage point-of-sale materials, in-store displays, and visual merchandising rollouts; support both independent retailers and national accounts with marketing initiatives.
• Vendor & Agency Management: Negotiate and manage relationships with media partners, agencies, and external vendors to ensure effective and cost-efficient execution.
• Global Collaboration & Localization: Partner with HQ teams (Switzerland) on marketing initiatives, events, and brand activations; adapt global strategies for local market relevance.
• Team Leadership & Coordination: Provide guidance to team members and coordinate project timelines, meetings, and cross-functional communication.
Working Conditions: This role is primarily office-based, requiring strong coordination, communication, and project management capabilities. Occasional travel (up to 25%) is required to support events, retail activations, and brand initiatives.
Employment Status: Full-Time - 40 hours per week. Flexibility is required during peak periods, major campaigns, and events. Occasional travel and extended hours may be necessary based on business needs.
