As a Human Resources (HR) Business Analyst, you will deliver critical support to achieve core HR goals and business objectives associated with Digital initiatives. This role is integral to the analysis of current business processes, identification of necessary system changes, and evaluation of data requirements, primarily aimed at designing future-state and to-be processes aligned with strategic objectives. Primary duties include: • Carry out cross-functional analysis of HR platforms and systems in support of defined business processes. • Audit current processes, assess technology functionality that supports the business process, analyze findings, and determine what adjustments and improvements are needed. • Maintain process repository artifacts used in the HR business unit. • Ensure business models comply with best practices. • Gather and analyze business and system use case scenarios and detailed requirements, identify process or UI/UX improvement opportunities, and make recommendations. • Design, develop and maintain system process documentation, business intent diagrams, and system workflow and data flow diagrams. • Perform problem definition and implement change management practices using the Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, Reinforcement (ADKAR) model through solution lifecycle. • Perform analysis and determine operational issues or minor enhancements as well as project or major enhancements. • Identify gaps and opportunities with the intent of optimizing business value from the product. • Develop and/or maintain system related documentation, procedural guidelines, or other business unit statistical information to facilitate trouble free implementation and adoption of system changes and/or to standardize business unit practices. Qualifications • A completed 2-3 year diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology/Computer Science or related field and at least 4 years of related experience in business analysis and/or the design, development, delivery and evaluation of system-related training, OR; • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology/Computer Science or related field and at least 2 years of related experience in business analysis and/or the design, development, delivery and evaluation of system-related training. • Completion of an industry-recognized Business Analysis certificate, a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification, a Business Analyst designation, and/or Prosci, and/or knowledge of Six Sigma and/or Agile is preferred. • Working knowledge and experience with HR Systems and platforms such as PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) will be considered an asset. • Experience with Microsoft Visio, Architecture of Integrated Information System (ARIS), Azure DevOps, Github, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) or Jira will be an asset. • Strong facilitation and communication skills with the ability to build consensus and develop credibility with internal and external partners, along with excellent problem solving and presentation skills. Such arrangements are based on the operational requirements of the position and employee suitability and are subject to change based on operational needs and corporate direction.
