Our client, a leading innovator in the consumer electronics sector, is looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Regional Sales Director to lead their sales operations in the vibrant market of San Jose, California . Key Responsibilities Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets. Lead, coach, and motivate a team of regional sales representatives to drive performance. Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retail partners. Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategies. Develop and manage the regional sales budget, ensuring profitable growth. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities for the sales team. Prepare and present regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management. Identify and pursue new market segments and distribution channels. Represent the company at industry trade shows and events. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus. Minimum of 8 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a sales leadership role within the consumer electronics industry. Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue growth in a regional capacity. Strong understanding of the consumer electronics market, including key players and trends. Demonstrated ability to build and lead a successful sales team. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools. Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region. Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
