Operations Manager – Same-Day Delivery (Cannabis Industry)
Location: Ottawa & Gatineau
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: $300–$350 per day (Cash paid daily based on performance and responsibilities)
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our same-day delivery operation.
This is not a regular dispatcher position. We are looking for someone who thinks like an owner, solves problems before they happen, builds systems, improves efficiency, and helps scale the business.
You will be responsible for making sure our daily operation runs smoothly, drivers stay organized, customers receive their orders on time, and every department is operating at a high standard.

Responsibilities
Daily Operations
• Manage the entire same-day delivery operation.
• Supervise and support delivery drivers throughout the day.
• Ensure every order is dispatched accurately and delivered on time.
• Monitor driver performance and route efficiency.
• Resolve operational issues quickly.
• Ensure customers receive professional service.
Leadership
• Lead, coach and motivate the delivery team.
• Hold team members accountable.
• Maintain a professional, organized work environment.
• Train new dispatchers and drivers.
• Serve as the backup leader whenever required.
Business Growth
This position requires someone who constantly looks for opportunities to improve the business.

Inventory Management
• Assist with inventory control.
• Count inventory.
• Organize stock.
• Monitor shortages.
• Help improve inventory processes.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
Financial Responsibilities
• Collect cash from delivery drivers.
• Reconcile daily payments.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Report discrepancies immediately.
• Handle cash responsibly and professionally.
Administrative Responsibilities
• Update internal spreadsheets and tracking systems.
• Monitor delivery KPIs.
• Communicate with dispatch and management.
• Prepare daily operational reports.
• Help improve internal processes.
Requirements
• Previous management or operations experience preferred.
• Leadership experience is highly valued.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong decision-making ability.
• Able to work under pressure.

• Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience with Google Sheets, email and messaging apps.
