As an Operations Manager, you will oversee the freight forwarding division, ensuring adherence to compliance and nurturing carrier relationships. You will guide staff development and enhance operational processes for optimal results. The ideal candidate has strong experience in import/export logistics, showcasing the ability to manage complex operations and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and implement operational processes for excellence
• Ensure compliance with DG, TSA, FMS regulations
• Handle individual import/export shipments as needed
• Motivate staff and provide necessary coaching
• Manage team workload and task distribution
Requirements:
• Over 7 years in air/ocean import/export operations
• Proven experience in senior management roles
• Strong leadership in fast-paced logistics environments
• Bilingual in French and English
• CargoWise experience preferred
