In this entry-level role, you will report to the Product Development Manager and oversee detail and conceptual drawings. Your innovative mindset will challenge existing designs, allowing you to lead root cause investigations and implement design upgrades. This is a unique opportunity to impact product performance and engineering standards directly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead failure analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
• Conduct root cause investigations on warranty returns
• Drive R&D initiatives for wheel hub bearing technology
• Own specifications and conceptual designs from concept to release
• Create and manage CAD models using AutoCAD or Inventor
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or applied science
• 5+ years of bearing design experience preferred
• Strong abilities in CAD and GD&T practices
• Familiarity with APQP and mechanical testing
• Experience with FEA or PLM systems
