About this role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced 2nd or 3rd year Electrician Apprentice to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a background in industrial electrical work. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including renovations and new installations, utilizing a wide range of electrical tools and techniques. Duties • With journeymen electrician Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial, residential, and renovation settings • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical work efficiently and safely • Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times Qualifications • Valid apprenticeship registration or certification • Proven experience as an commercial electrician or in a similar electrical role • Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams • Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment • Construction experience with a focus on electrical installations and renovations • Ability to interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams accurately • Handyman experience is a plus for versatile troubleshooting skills • Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail • Commitment to safety standards and regulations in all aspects of work • Be able to pass security and police clearance This position requires a dedicated professional capable of handling complex electrical tasks while maintaining high safety standards.
