About the Role Our client, a growing renewable energy company located in Denver, Colorado, US , is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Generalist with a focus on Compensation and Benefits. This role will play a key part in managing and administering the company's compensation structures, health and welfare benefits programs, and retirement plans. The HR Generalist will ensure competitive and equitable offerings, manage vendor relationships, and support employees with inquiries. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of C&B principles, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional HR support. Key Responsibilities Administer and manage the company's compensation programs, including base pay, incentive plans, and job evaluations, ensuring market competitiveness and internal equity for the Denver, Colorado, US workforce. Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and wellness programs. Manage relationships with benefits brokers and vendors, ensuring effective service delivery and cost management. Administer the company's 401(k) plan, including employee communications and compliance. Conduct market research and analyze compensation and benefits data to benchmark against industry standards. Process enrollments, terminations, and qualifying life event changes for all benefit plans. Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits, providing clear and accurate information. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations related to compensation and benefits (e.g., ERISA, ACA). Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong emphasis on compensation and benefits administration. Proven experience managing employee benefits programs and working with brokers/vendors. Solid understanding of compensation principles, job evaluation, and salary benchmarking. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and other relevant benefits regulations. Experience in the energy or utilities sector is a plus.
