About this role
Become a key part of Noratel Canada as a detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer in Mississauga, Ontario. Support the design and development of transformer and reactor products while managing the complete documentation lifecycle. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience in mechanical design, specifically within a manufacturing environment.
You will utilize your skills in CAD software, simulation, and BOM management to create practical design solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure effective production processes and improvements. Key Responsibilities:
• Design mechanical parts using advanced 3D CAD software
• Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings and produce accurate documentation
• Perform FEM simulations to validate designs
• Develop and maintain BOMs in the ERP system
• Collaborate with suppliers for optimal design and material sourcing Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum three years of mechanical design experience
• Proficiency in 3D CAD, particularly Autodesk Inventor
• Experience with FEM and simulation
