Requirements:
• Manage accounting activities related to land development projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for multiple active projects
• Monitor project costs, analyze variances, and provide insights to support decision-making
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure financial alignment across projects
• Maintain detailed and organized financial records in a fast-paced environment
• Contribute to process improvements and help drive efficiencies within accounting workflows
• Assist with month-end processes and other ad hoc financial analysis as required
Qualifications:
• Experience in accounting within real estate, land development, or a related industry
• Strong understanding of the Canadian real estate market and development lifecycle
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
• Team-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, solutions-driven mindset with the ability to think critically and “outside the box”
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or working toward designation is an asset)
