About the Role Our client, a leading real estate development and investment firm operating in **Washington, D.C.**, is seeking a skilled Real Estate Financial Analyst. Key Responsibilities Develop complex financial models to analyze real estate investment opportunities, including DCF, LBO, and sensitivity analyses. Underwrite potential acquisitions and development projects, assessing financial viability and risk. Prepare detailed financial reports, investment memorandums, and presentations for senior management and partners. Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process for existing assets and new developments. Monitor the financial performance of the real estate portfolio and identify areas for improvement. Conduct market research and data analysis to support investment strategies. Collaborate with internal teams (acquisitions, development, leasing) and external partners (lenders, brokers). Stay abreast of current market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes impacting the real estate industry in **Washington, D.C.** Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate financial analysis, investment banking, or corporate finance. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex financial modeling and data analysis. Strong understanding of real estate valuation methodologies and capital markets. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment. Familiarity with Argus Enterprise or similar real estate analysis software is a plus.
