Drive accurate financial reporting at The Royal Ottawa Health Care Group as a Financial Analyst. This role focuses on data analysis, forecasting, and strategic reporting for decision-making. You will work directly under the Finance Manager, ensuring timely internal and external reports for The Royal Ottawa and its associated organizations.
Your tasks will involve analyzing financial transactions, preparing GAAP-compliant journal entries, and conducting financial forecasts. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance financial operations and reporting accuracy. Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze financial transactions and statements for accuracy
• Prepare adjusting and accrual journal entries as per GAAP
• Conduct monthly variance analysis on transactions
• Perform forecasting and evaluate financial opportunities
• Oversee internal and external financial report preparation Requirements:
• University Degree in finance, business, or accounting
• 5 years of experience in finance or accounting
• CPA Designation required
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis
