Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Human Resources Manager with a specialization in Employee Relations to join their dynamic team. This is a fully remote, position based in **Orlando, Florida, US**. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive and productive work environment by proactively addressing employee concerns, managing complex employee relations issues, and ensuring compliance with all labor laws and company policies. You will play a critical role in developing and implementing HR strategies that support organizational goals and promote employee well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigate and resolve employee grievances and disputes with fairness and impartiality. Develop and implement effective employee relations strategies, policies, and procedures. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on a wide range of HR issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation. Conduct thorough investigations into workplace misconduct, harassment, and discrimination claims, documenting findings and recommending appropriate actions. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Collaborate with legal counsel on complex employee relations matters. Develop and deliver training programs on employee relations best practices, conflict resolution, and diversity and inclusion. Analyze employee relations trends and metrics to identify areas for improvement and recommend proactive solutions. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records. Contribute to the development and execution of overall HR initiatives. Partner with other HR functions to ensure a cohesive approach to talent management and employee engagement. Advocate for both employees and the organization to ensure a balanced and equitable approach to workplace issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years focused on employee relations. Demonstrated experience in conducting investigations, mediation, and conflict resolution. In-depth knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Experience working in a remote or distributed workforce environment is highly preferred. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
