Our Valued Public Sector Client is seeking a Secret Senior Business Analyst to conduct business requirements gathering, asset classification, and data mapping to improve supply chain processes for a digital transformation project. Must Haves: • Business Analyst (7+ years) • Supply Chain (3+ years) • Data Mapping (5+ years) • Asset Classification (2+ years) Nice To Have: • Equipment Taxonomy Overview: The FP&R (Force Posture and Readiness) Project supports a large-scale data readiness and digital transformation initiative to modernize how enterprise data is prepared, governed, and used for decision-making. It combines the development of a standardized, interoperable data platform with data profiling, quality assessment, analytics enablement, and governance in a cloud-aligned environment. The Business Analyst will focus on business requirements gathering, asset classification, and data mapping to improve supply chain processes. Tasks: • Analyze supply chain data and business processes to support asset classification and taxonomy initiatives. (e.g., Visio, BPMN) • Gather, document, and validate business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders across supply chain, operations, and IT • Develop and maintain data mapping rules to ensure consistency and alignment across systems • Support the design and implementation of data governance and taxonomy frameworks • Apply knowledge of asset classification and supply chain structures to improve data quality and usability • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into functional specifications • Perform data analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, or visualization platforms to identify trends, gaps, and inconsistencies • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to drive alignment on requirements and solutions • Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance data processes and standards Disclaimer: AI may be used in evaluating candidates.
